We embarked on another exciting project, collaborating with our colleagues at AllSet. Our mission: to construct a captivating set in celebration of the release of “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.”
The creative directive from AllSet was clear: draw inspiration from the enchanting realms of Dumbledore’s Library and the mysterious Room of Requirement. The result? A mesmerizing Fantastic Beasts-inspired set that boasted a grand, semi-circular library, unveiling hanging pillars reminiscent of the Room of Requirement. These pillars were built by Totom Construction to mimic the appearance of fabric but were actually metal and wood structures suspended in the air and painted to achieve the fabric-like illusion.
AllSet, in particular, relished their role in this production, dressing the set with an extensive array of hired props, alongside a selection of original props from the actual Fantastic Beasts film set.
Under the skilled direction of Bianca Swartz for Framework LA and Nice Shirt Films, this project came to life in magnificent fashion.
