Netflix’s “SCOOP” delves into the remarkable behind-the-scenes narrative of Prince Andrew’s tumultuous 2019 Newsnight interview with BBC’s Emily Maitlis.
With a stellar cast including Keeley Hawes, Rufus Sewell, Gillian Anderson, and Billie Piper, this one-of-a-kind drama unveils the untold story behind the infamous television encounter, shedding light on the women who defied the Buckingham Palace establishment to capture the decade’s most significant scoop.
In collaboration with the Art Department and Art Directors, Totom meticulously recreated the iconic interview spaces within Buckingham Palace, the BBC Newsroom, BBC Newsnight Studio, and the Buckingham Palace gates. Set construction commenced in early 2023 at West London Film Studios, while the gates were assembled and filmed against a green screen in a Hayes car park, in West London.
